Finska PAF kommer att fortsätta öka sitt utbud av skraplotter på flygplan med via svenska Fly Nordic efter att ha skrivit kontrakt om ett års förlängning. På skraplotterna kan man vinna priser direkt samt semesterresor och pengar via PAF.com. ”Vi har lyckats sälja fler skraplotter än någonsin förut, även under förra årets recession och med lägre passagerar antal” säger Jim Hofverberg, kommunikationschef för TUI Fly Nordic.

Även på färjorna Stena Line kör PAF sitt skraplottserbjudande Scratchorama. Om PAF får avtal att driva casino är dock inte troligt.

Finnish online games operator Alands Penningautomatforening (PAF) will continue to offer its Scratchorama scratchcards on flights conducted by Swedish charter airline TUIfly Nordic after agreeing a one-year extension.

The extension follows the success of a year-long trial with in-flight retail supplier Inflight Service Europe AB and sees passengers given the chance to win instant prizes as well as holidays and money through PAF.com.

“The last year has proved that PAF’s scratchcard concept Scratchorama definitely is something special,” said Jim Hofverberg, Communications Manager for TUIfly Nordic.

“We have managed to sell more scratchcards than ever before; even during the last year’s recession with lower passenger numbers.”

Also available on Stena Line ferry services throughout Europe, PAF stated that the Scratchorama concept combines an onboard lottery with its online gaming site and opens new ancillary revenue streams for airlines. It stated that this deal could see the concept expended to other airline partners of Inflight Service Europe including Air Finland, SAS Charter, Spanair and Thomas Cook Airlines Scandinavia.

“We are excited that TUIfly Nordic has chosen to extend its partnership with us for an additional sales period,” said Anders Wiklund, Head Of Consumer Experience for PAF.

“Throughout 2009, we have proved that the scratchcard concept works. We have increased customer satisfaction and raised money for charity.”
